Tina Beverly has over 25 years of hospitality experience, holding Human Resources leadership roles across the country for many different brands and various numbers of employees. As the Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Beverly provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s Human Resources operations. Ms. Beverly is responsible, first and foremost, for keeping our company culture rooted in mutual respect for one another, while also setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

Prior to joining SMASHotels, Ms. Beverly served as Director of Human Resources at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza in Chicago. She began her Human Resources career with the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans, LA as a Human Resources Assistant, and was quickly promoted to Human Resources Manager with the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago, IL. Ms. Beverly later joined the opening team of the Swissotel in Chicago and also served as a Regional Human Resources leader with responsibilities of opening new hotels in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. and oversight of Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, New York and Washington D.C. properties. Past experience has also taken Ms. Beverly to the Talbott Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, Marriott Hotel and Majestic Star Casino.

Outside of her daily tasks, Ms. Beverly has taught as an adjunct professor at DePaul and Chicago State Universities, Kendall College and Harold Washington Community College. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Business from Chicago State University and a Master of Science Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Roosevelt University.

Tina Beverly has enjoyed years of active participation with charitable and community organizations focused on children such as The Ronald McDonald House, Starlight Children’s Foundation and George Manierre Elementary School.
